Happy Valentine’s Day Wrap Up!

Gabrielle here again and today marks the end of our Valentine’s Day Protect Our Breasts countdown! For the last seven days the whole POB team aimed to share the knowledge they acquired on traditional Valentine’s Day gifts with you, our followers.  From fragrance to flowers, this campaign communicated not just through blog posting, but through campus interaction as well.

An overwhelming majority of our followers are college aged students and most live on our home base – the University of Massachusetts/ Amherst. Being able to share this information with our peers is a main priority of our organization, so last Friday (February 10) and yesterday (February 13), the POB team set up a table in various high traffic locations and encouraged members of our campus community to learn more about POB and safe cosmetics in honor of the upcoming holiday.

Between the two days over 400 students stopped at our table and received safe cosmetics information courtesy of the Breast Cancer Fund, a brief EWG Skin Deep database tutorial and a free organic Badger lip balm! (Special thanks to the Breast Cancer Fund and Badger Balm xoxo)

It has been extremely exciting for us to be able to share so much with our followers on campus. From providing relevant information and suggested solutions to giving samples of safe organic products, we are so grateful for the opportunity to engage our followers in our mission.

We hope you have passed along the information from our blogs with someone you love this Valentine’s Day and on behalf of all us at Protect Our Breasts, have a wonderful, toxic free and full of love Holiday.
